This meeting will be virtual and live for those who are comfortable joining us.
Our location will be Mixon’s Fruit Farm located at 2525 27th St E, Bradenton, FL 34208. It is handicap accessible.
We will enjoy a special presentation by TMA MAB Member, Dr. Tasheen Mozaffar who will join us at 1:30 p.m. Eastern, via Zoom. His topic will address why there are so many different types of myositis and why it is so difficult for doctors to diagnose and treat them. There will be time for Q&A.
Our KIT support group welcomes anyone with an interest in learning more about myositis. We encourage patients to bring their care partners so we can let both of you know you are not alone on this journey.
If you are planning to attend in person you must make a reservation with Marianne Moyer, no later than February 2, 2022. (This is to ensure we have enough socially distanced seating and food.) We ask for a donation to help us cover the cost of breakfast snacks and lunch; $15 per person or $25 per couple, paid by February 2, 2022.
