TMA is collaborating with Myositis Support and Understanding (MSU) in an important project called an Externally Led Patient Focused Drug Development (PFDD). This project involves a half-day town hall meeting with members of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the government body responsible for testing the safety and effectiveness of all new medical treatments.
TMA encourages everyone with DM and their family members to attend this meeting on June 7, 2024, from 10am-3pm ET. We’re hoping to have as many members of our community as possible participate. The more voices, the greater the impact!

You can also participate by leaving your story—either as a video or a written testimonial—on the EL-PFDD website. The website also has a survey where you can add information about your experiences of living with DM. All of this will be part of the final report shared with the FDA.
