Physical and occupational therapists – earn two free CEUs while enjoying free dinner, beverages and networking! TMA’s SW Florida Support Group is observing Myositis Awareness Month by educating physical and occupational therapists on myositis and how they can treat those who live with these diseases. Training will be provided by experts and speakers from Johns Hopkins Myositis Center. This year we will be at Gold Eagle Distributing, 7051 Wireless Ct, Sarasota, FL 34240 (east of I-75, south of University Parkway, just off Lakewood Ranch Blvd). The symposium with free dinner takes place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 5-8 PM ET.
Up to 150 therapists in southwestern Florida are invited to the free presentation where they can earn two CEUs. Afterward, the recorded presentations will then be available to other TMA support groups, medical professionals, and TMA members. PTs, OTs, PTAs, and OTAs in Florida can register for free.
