Disclaimer
Support group leaders do not give out medical advice.  All such questions should be referred to the participant’s physician.  While a support group is a good resource, support group leaders and participants should never give medical advice to others in the group, including suggestions for changes to medications or treatment plans.  Those discussions should always take place with one’s physician.

About TMA Support Groups
A TMA Support group can be composed of myositis patients, care partners, family members, friends, and those in the community seeking to learn more about myositis.  More often than not, the vast majority of your group will consist of those living with myositis who want to explore how they can better cope with the many challenges that come with a chronic illness.
