Dr. Alexanderson presented several sessions on exercise at TMA's 2015 Annual Patient Conference and is an international authority on exercise for myositis patients, having published more than 50 research articles on the subject. Dr. Ascherman is a rheumatologist and an associate professor with the University of Miami Health System. He has a special interest in the overlap between myositis and lung disease, and co-founded the Autoimmune Interstitial Lung Disease Clinic in Miami.
