2024 International Annual Patient Conference

We’re excited to be in-person again at this year’s International Annual Patient Conference in Baltimore, a richly diverse American city. Over the years, Baltimore has become a melting pot of cultures and lifestyles. This important convergence of uniqueness and differences is reflected throughout the sights and sounds of the city. Baltimore is known for many things; its Inner Harbor, the Orioles and Ravens sports teams, and delicious seafood. We hope you will find your time in our host city enriching, inspiring, and restoring.

Here’s some logistical information to assist you in planning your trip to Baltimore.

The Hotel

The Hotel

The conference will be held at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor.  Hotel guestroom booking information is provided in your registration confirmation email.  The TMA group rate is $195 plus tax.  In order to secure the TMA group rate, you must book your lodging by no later than August 16, 2024 or when the block fills, whichever happens first.

All conference attendees are strongly urged to book your hotel rooms exclusively through the official hotel booking link provided in your conference registration confirmation email. Recently, there has been an increase in third-party booking scams that appear to offer legitimate accommodations but ultimately defraud guests. Protect yourself and ensure a smooth, hassle-free experience by avoiding these fraudulent offers and booking directly through the link provided by TMA. Your security and peace of mind are TMA’s top priorities.

One known scammer, “lodging.support,” has been particularly active, stealing personal and financial information or failing to secure reservations, leaving guests without a room upon arrival. If you are contacted by a scammer, please let TMA know (tma@myositis.org), and report the impersonators to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

The hotel is holding all the ADA rooms exclusively for TMA attendees. In addition, TMA has reserved all the ADA rooms at the Baltimore Marriott at Camden Yards for our attendees’ use. If you have requested an ADA room or roll-in shower at registration, we have already assigned all ADA rooms available at both the Hilton and across the street at the Marriott and have a lengthy wait list. If you registered after June 1, it’s unlikely that you will get an ADA room at either of these locations. Please see this list of other area hotels with ADA rooms.

Hilton Baltimore – 8 rooms with a roll-in shower; 13 rooms with an accessible bathtub
Baltimore Marriott – 5 rooms with a roll-in shower; 7 general ADA rooms with a bathtub

At this time, all the roll-in shower rooms at both the Hilton and the Marriott have been assigned to TMA conference attendees. We are keeping a waitlist and will alert you if one becomes available.
