One of the biggest goals we have at The Myositis Association is to leverage

“The Power Of US!” and to increase our connectivity. We’ve heard your feedback and considered thoughtfully how we could bring everyone together in ways that will build our community and give quicker access to resources and information.

We’ve built a brand-new online community, called MYOConnect!

Think of it as the LinkedIn of myositis! Online communities are built by USERS – so we invite you to help us build the content – we invite you (our patients, care partners, friends, family, healthcare professionals & providers, and industry partners) to use MYOConnect, explore it, connect with others, and engage with our myositis community in a brand-new way!

I have been on IVIG infusions for over five years. My CK enzymes were back in a normal range until my husband retired and Medicare became our primary (instead of secondary) insurance. They have refused treatment and, by missing four infusions, my enzymes are back over 1000 at my last blood test. Has anyone else had to fight Medicare?
